🌞 I get sunburned really easily and I'm very popular with mosquitos. So naturally I moved to Florida.
🎭 I'm a theatre nerd - obsessed with all things behind the scenes but have zero desire to be on stage. (I've even got a degree in it 🤓)
🎆I never thought I'd want to live in a tourist destination but I actually love it. I can see the Disney World fireworks from my neighborhood.

I’m Kate, a Florida-based painter who can’t get enough of being by the ocean. Time spent near the water soothes the soul like nothing else, and I infuse that same sense of calm into your artwork.
You want your home to feel calm, welcoming, expansive, and refreshing. Through my modern coastal abstract art, I bring those feelings into your daily life.
When you see the soothing colors and textures on your wall, it’s a reminder to pause and take a breath.

With a background in painting scenery and props for theatres and theme parks, I now create abstract paintings in my home studio in Central Florida. My coastal-inspired paintings have found homes with ocean lovers throughout the US and internationally.
When not in the studio or seeking out the nearest body of water, you can probably find me watching movies with my husband, enjoying the loveable nonsense of our 5 year old, getting outdoors with our dog as much as possible, or looking forward to the elusive nap with our cat.
And yes, my last name is really Shore :) I didn’t set out to marry someone with that last name and paint oceans, but it worked out just right.
